To create an exciting new usage for a Grade I or II listed building. Focus on how you can work around the structural and design limitations that a listed building involves. Your project can explore any type of interior deign from decorative to commercial.

Design Proposal
This project is a response to my research analysis which suggests that over six million people in the UK are illiterate and struggle with reading. The design solution aims to create a fun, safe and engaging environment for children and teenagers aged 5 to 15. Inspiration for the design has come from looking at a variety of settings that inspire young people, as it is important to create a space that the users enjoy, as this can have a significant part to play in the growth of the individuals reading ability. The aim of the project is to create a variety of communal and private spaces achieved through insertion. This unique and exciting environment will host a wide variety of reading facilities that help to build confidence in young readers.
