The lack of modern day technologies such as telephone lines and satellite dishes, make this location popular for period drama productions. Key scenes from the Harry Potter film franchise were shot here including Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (2001) and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002).
